• Read through to page 267 for this week.  Journal along the way!  I love hearing about the expedition from your characters' points of view!
• You can check out the Captain's Dog Quizlet if you'd like.  (You can add vocab to the Quizlet if you come to a word you don't know)
• Choose one of the following topics for the essay that we will be working on.  (If you have another idea, just let me know and I'll see if it can work!)  You can go ahead and begin brainstorming if you'd like.
• Sacajawea

• the idea of "manifest destiny"
• the Lewis and Clark expedition
• the relationship between horses and humans in American history
