- You can check out the Captain's Dog Quizlet if you'd like. (You can add vocab to the Quizlet if you come to a word you don't know)
- Choose one of the following topics for the essay that we will be working on. (If you have another idea, just let me know and I'll see if it can work!) You can go ahead and begin brainstorming if you'd like.
- Sacajawea
- Native American tribes
- the idea of "manifest destiny"
- the Lewis and Clark expedition
- the relationship between horses and humans in American history
- Come up with 3 body paragraphs for your essay, and use an outline or graphic organizer to outline the supporting sentences/details you'd like to add for each. I'll post some on Google Classroom (click here for a direct link) that you can use, if you'd like!
