• Begin studying list 6.  Read, spell, and write each word.  Then, do the first lesson in the book for list 6.

Literature (This is the list of things to do by Monday)

• Read to page 70.  You can read it out loud together!
  
• There weren't really any difficult words in this section, so no Quizlet!
• Also, there weren't a lot of uses of figurative language.
  
• Add characters (or Native American tribes) to your character list as you read. 
• Have your character journal as you read.  You do NOT have to journal every date!  Save your writing for important events.
• Would you like to read actual journal entries from the Lewis and Clark Expedition?!  Check out this link!  You can choose a date that correlates with the dates in our book.
  
• Check out this website!  You can use the menu on the right to choose interesting topics about Lewis and Clark's expedition!
