Spelling
- Clark- Test over spelling list 4. *
- Say and spell the words in list 5 out loud, and write them down for practice as you go.
- Handwriting-- We worked on a's!! Remember to start at the top and don't pick up your pencil. Try to make a great line of a's on the sheet that is in your folder.
- Carris & Ivey - Keep working on list 5.
Literature (class in the afternoon)
- We're doing Wordly Wise for vocabulary this year, but I will have a Quizlet for literature words that pop up in your books. I will choose the words that I found, but if you are reading "The Captain's Dog" and come across a word that you didn't know that isn't in the Quizlet, you are allowed to EDIT the Quizlet and add the word!
- Make sure to add a clear definition (you'll have to look it up, ask a
parent, or use the options Quizlet provides), and you can even add a
picture!
- We will be journalling along with Captain Lewis! You'll need a section for your journal entries, a section for figurative language, a section for vocabulary, and a page or two in the back for characters that you meet along the way.
- Here is your sheet for this week. You don't have to print it! Just write in your Literature Notebook.
- As you read, keep a list of characters in the back of your notebook. Just jot down their names and a few words about them so you can remember who is who!
